The Thessaloniki Night Half Marathon has a 3:00 hour time limit, and the course will reopen to traffic once the half marathoners doing a 3:00 pace have passed.
No, runner’s lanes will be separated from traffic lanes by cones—please stay inside the cones at all times. To ensure your safety, volunteers and police officers will monitor the course.
If you feel that you will be unable to complete the half marathon and need to drop out, move to the right side of the road and look for a course volunteer for assistance.
For the safety of all Thessaloniki Night Half Marathon participants, no pets or wheeled conveyances including bikes, strollers, baby joggers or in-line skates are permitted on the course. As it's not a closed course, and so you can hear directions given by race officials, please do not wear headphones during the race.
Yes, there is a free gear location between the starting and the finishing areas. You can leave a bag and take it back after the race, by presenting your bib number.
Please don’t leave valuable or irreplaceable items in your bag, and avoid bringing items that may easily fall out of your bag. The Thessaloniki Night Half Marathon Organisation will be not responsible for lost or missing bags.
